Sept-Laux is a beautiful, off the beaten track resort nestled in the Belledonne mountain range and comprises of three main stations, Prapoutel, Le Pleynet and Pipay. The resort is kind to skiers of all abilitiy with the 120km of pistes being split fairly evenly between blue, green and red runs with several challenging black runs thrown in too. There is good sun all day with Le Pleynet getting the best of the morning and Prapoutel enjoying the afternoon rays. Sept-Laux is not often crowded and has plenty of apres-ski opportunities with a predominantly French and English crowd. An excellent place to keep coming back to year on year.
