Les Portes du Soleil is one of the world's largest ski resorts with well over 400km of skiable pistes. The wide variety of green, blue, red and black runs connect fifteen towns and villages that make up the Portes du Soleil area. Morzine, the largest town is a traditional market town in France, from which skiers can access the villages of Avoriaz and Les Gets. While parts of the resort are connected by bus links or short walks, the area is expansive and home to some of the most challenging, and family friendly, runs in the Alps. Do you fancy visiting two countries in one day whilst experiencing great snow conditions? Les Portes du Soleil rests on the border of France and Switzerland with some of the connected villages in each country giving the resort a wealth of culture, food, drink and activities that last all year round.
